Successful Launch of the TADE Consortium Partners Meeting in Addis Ababa

Data-Driven Collaboration: Forging Pathways for Health Innovations in Africa

Geneva, Switzerland (August 28, 2024) - On August 12 and 13, 2024, the Technical Assistance for Data & Evidence Use in Africa (TADE) Consortium held its inaugural partners meeting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. 

This pivotal gathering brought together key stakeholders from the African Society for Laboratory Medicine (ASLM), the eSHIFT Partner Network, and the University of Zambia (UNZA), marking an important milestone for the TADE project.

About the TADE Project


The TADE project, funded by the Fleming Fund and managed by ASLM, is dedicated to enhancing the utilization of data and evidence in shaping effective policies, regulations, and guidelines across Africa. Our mission is to empower global health through strategic data analysis, guiding resource allocation to achieve meaningful and sustainable outcomes in public health, animal health, and environmental preservation.
