About us
TADE is a visionary project funded under the Fleming Fund Phase II grant, managed by the African Society for Laboratory Medicine (ASLM).
Our mission is to empower global health through data, leading the charge in analyzing and identifying the most impactful data sources for strategic investment. By guiding global efforts, we aim to ensure that resources are allocated where they can achieve the most meaningful and sustainable outcomes in public health, animal health, and environmental preservation.

Our vision is made possible through collaboration with a network of dedicated partners:
African Society for Laboratory Medicine (ASLM)
As the managing body of the TADE project, ASLM plays a pivotal role in advancing laboratory medicine across Africa.
Partnership with ASLM is crucial for enhancing laboratory capacity, ensuring accurate diagnostics, and supporting effective disease surveillance, all essential for combating Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and achieving our shared goals.
eSHIFT Partner Network
The eSHIFT Partner Network is a collective of health technology and service delivery experts committed to driving innovation in healthcare.
By working with eSHIFT, we incorporate cutting-edge digital health solutions into our data-driven approach, improving healthcare delivery and AMR management in resource-limited settings.
University of Zambia (UNZA)
As a leading academic institution in Africa, UNZA contributes vital research and expertise to the TADE project.
Our collaboration with UNZA enhances our ability to conduct evidence-based interventions, particularly in AMR surveillance and policy development, ensuring that our efforts are informed by the latest scientific insights.
The Fleming Fund
Funded by the UK government, the Fleming Fund is a global initiative aimed at addressing AMR by building capacity in low- and middle-income countries.
As the principle funder of the TADE project, the Fleming Fund enables us to implement high-impact AMR initiatives, strategically guiding global efforts to where resources can be most effectively allocated.
Support from UK Aid
The support from UK Aid is instrumental in enabling TADE to achieve its vision.
UK Aid’s funding and guidance empower us to extend our reach and impact, ensuring that our data-driven approach to global health challenges contributes to stronger health systems, sustainable environmental practices, and resilient communities worldwide.
